Summer Program

Ross Cottage Nursery School - City Of Ross, California

We are open year-round including the summer, with both full and half days available!

Many of our new students start RCNS in the summer as it helps them transition into our program. Others start in September or January, or whenever the space they’ve applied for becomes available.

Summer is especially wonderful at RCNS.

Our park-like yard allows for painting outdoors, water table activities, bug collecting, bird and butterfly watching, sandbox fun, playing with our bunny and guinea pig and much more!
The children have two special ducks that visit the stream, whom they have named and feed with delight!

We are also able to visit wonderful Phoenix Lake, which is less than a 7 minute walk from our location, for more experiences with nature!

“I cannot say enough amazing things about this school! My daughter has been attending since she was 18 months old, and she is now 4-1/2! She has learned so much and comes home with new words almost daily! In addition, I have never experienced a more loving place for my child.” –Jessie Hammer / San Rafael, CA
